Sustainability isn’t a side initiative at KP – it’s embedded in how we print, partner, and measure impact.
At KP Corporation, sustainability is a long‑term operational commitment that shows up in how we print, source materials, invest in technology, and partner with our customers. As part of that commitment, we participate in globally recognized sustainability measurement programs like EcoVadis and PrintReleaf, giving our customers transparency into the real, measurable impact of their print programs.
Our most recent findings highlight meaningful progress made in 2025, alongside powerful lifetime results that reflect years of consistent action.
Why EcoVadis and PrintReleaf Matter in Sustainable Printing
EcoVadis and PrintReleaf are widely used across enterprise supply chains to evaluate and validate environmental performance.EcoVadis assesses companies across environmental practices, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement—providing a trusted ESG benchmark for procurement teams.
PrintReleaf focuses specifically on print sustainability, measuring paper consumption and enabling verified reforestation of the equivalent volume through verified global forestry projects.
Together, these programs help KP and our clients quantify impact, reduce environmental risk, and support ESG reporting requirements with confidence.
2025 PrintReleaf Impact: Measurable Results in One Year
During 2025 alone, KP customers collectively offset:
- 1,951,958 pounds of paper consumption
- 23,485 standard trees reforested
These trees were planted through certified PrintReleaf reforestation projects, primarily in Northern California and British Columbia, supporting responsible forest restoration while maintaining the integrity of print supply chains.
For our customers, this means printed communications remain both effective and environmentally accountable, without sacrificing quality, security, or compliance.
While the 2025 results are meaningful on their own, they build on years of consistent participation.
KP’s Lifetime PrintReleaf Impact
Since joining PrintReleaf in December 2020, KP customers have achieved a substantial cumulative impact:
- 7,153,982 pounds of paper offset
- 86,074 standard trees reforested globally
These lifetime results reflect consistent participation across customer programs and reinforce our belief that sustainability is most powerful when it’s embedded into everyday operations, not treated as a one‑time initiative.
Reforestation projects supported by PrintReleaf span multiple regions, including Northern California, British Columbia, and Madagascar, and contribute to biodiversity, climate resilience, and long‑term forest health.
How This Supports EcoVadis Scores and ESG Goals
Participation in PrintReleaf directly supports the environmental criteria evaluated by EcoVadis, strengthening KP‘s overall sustainability profile. More importantly, it helps our customers:
- Support ESG and corporate social responsibility goals
- Strengthen sustainability disclosures and supplier reporting
- Meet internal and external environmental benchmarks
- Demonstrate measurable action, not just intent
For industries where KP specializes, such as healthcare, retail, elections, legal and cyber breach, and financial services, this level of documentation and accountability is increasingly essential.
Sustainability Built Into How We Print
KP’s sustainability efforts extend beyond reforestation. They are supported by:
- Investment in high‑efficiency, large‑volume digital print technology
- Responsible paper sourcing and waste reduction practices
- Secure, compliant production processes for sensitive industries
- A people‑first culture that prioritizes long‑term environmental stewardship
Our approach ensures customers don’t have to choose between operational excellence and sustainability; they get both.
