The post office is now recognizing that the use of QR codes increases response from mail recipients and thus makes mail a more valuable medium for marketing, advertising and sales.
According to Post & Parcel, the United States Postal Service (USPS) will be offering a 3% postage discount during July and August to mailers using Quick Response (QR Codes) two-dimensional barcodes printed on their mail pieces.
